IDEAL’s™ (Interactive Digitally Enhanced Atmosphere for Learning) Learning Center, The Challenge of Managing Pain While Mitigating Risk, will improve the care of your patients in pain by providing you with the best evidence-based clinical practices (clinical pearls) for stratifying and monitoring risk. This unique, dynamic, self-paced learning format enables you to attend when your schedule permits. To maximize your learning experience, please reserve approximately 1 hour to fully participate.
The IDEAL™ Learning Center begins with an interactive visual and auditory experience in the Education Gallery and culminates in Teaching Rounds designed to practice the evidence-based clinical pearls in an expert-lead, interactive, small-group learning encounter. The Teaching Rounds feature live programmed patients often encountered in everyday practice. You are invited to share your own experiences, knowledge, comments, and questions with the experts and your colleagues to improve your knowledge of pain management and increase your comfort level in appropriately prescribing controlled substances while mitigating the risk of addiction.
Ninety-nine percent of IDEAL™ Learning Center participants in 2009 felt that the learning experience was excellent (73%) or good (27%) and that it addressed their professional needs; consequently, 99% of them would recommend it to their colleagues. Come join us and see for yourself!
