Experiences with the First Opioid REMS Program*

The presentation will focus on the overall goal of the FOCUS program for Onsolis™, which is to mitigate the risk of Onsolis overdose, abuse, addiction, and serious complications due to medication errors. The program is designed to train prescribing clinicians, pharmacists, and patients/caregivers in the proper dosing and administration of Onsolis, to assure proper patient selection, and ultimately address such public health problems as abuse and misuse of opioids and methadone.
